The Dark Tower Continuum

Selesainya seri The Dark Tower pada tahun 2004 ternyata membuat banyak pihak merasa kehilangan dan merindu. Maka mulai Februari 2007 The Dark Tower muncul kembali dalam bentuk novel grafis. The Dark Tower bentuk baru ini bernaung di bawah bendera Marvel bersama-sama Spider-Man, Iron Man, X-Man dan Man-Man yang lainnya. Sampai saat ini novel grafis The Dark Tower telah ada 3 seri.

1. The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger Born (2007)
Terdiri dari 7 bagian, diterbitkan mulai Februari 2007 sampai Agustus 2007. This first series works in conjunction with the events of Wizard & Glass and the showdown between Roland’s tet and the Big Coffin hunters. The series expands the saga of Roland Deschain by filling in the much asked about background of the character. For the first-time ever, the comic will examine the complete origin of Roland, showing him grow from a boy into the adult millions of readers have followed for years.

2. The Dark Tower: The Long Road Home (2008)
Terdiri dari 5 bagian, diterbitkan mulai Maret 2008 sampai Juli 2008. Treading uncharted territory in the Dark Tower mythos, The Long Road Home finds Roland’s ka-tet intact but unraveling. In the shadow of the shocking murder of Susan Delgado — the young woman who had won Roland’s heart and carried his child — the trio of young gunslingers track a road out of Hambry fraught with peril. While Alain and Cuthbert try to keep ahead of the pursuing Big Coffin Hunters and cut through the formidable menaces that stand in their way, Roland lies in a coma, his consciousness trapped in Maerlyn’s Grapefruit, a mystical sphere inside of which many important secrets are locked; its revelations may bring death — or worse!

3. The Dark Tower: Treachery (2008 -2009)
Direncanakan terdiri dari 6 bagian yang akan diterbitkan mulai September 2008 sampai Februari 2009). Treachery is the third arc in Marvel's Dark Tower series. Roland and his Ka-tet have returned to Gilead. Unfortunately, Roland has held onto the evil Maerlyn’s Grapefruit and grown obsessed with gazing into its pinkish depths regardless of the negative effects it has taken on his body.

Tidak seperti novelnya, aku tidak punya keinginan yang kuat untuk mengoleksi novel grafis The Dark Tower ini. Tapi terimakasih kepada teknologi internet sehingga aku bisa membaca dan menikmati gambar-gambar indah yang ada di dalamnya. Kepada semua saja, yang ingin ikut menikmati novel grafis ini secara free, ini aku kasih info dimana bisa men-downloadnya. Untuk seri pertama, The Gunslinger Born, dapat diperoleh di sini dan seri kedua, The Long Road Home, bisa di-download lewat sini. Sedangkan seri ketiga (Treachery) baru tersedia 3 bagian.
